Nigerian music star, Innocent Idibia, also known as 2Baba or 2Face, has proposed to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru. A video of the proposal went viral on Thursday.
In the video, 2Baba and Osawaru are seen dancing together. Then, 2Baba brings out a ring and proposes. The crowd cheers as they share a long hug.
This comes just a day after 2Baba publicly confirmed his relationship with Osawaru. He recently separated from his wife, Annie Idibia.
People had been talking about their relationship for weeks. 2Baba was seen at the Edo State Assembly and later with Osawaru at a Lagos club.
On Tuesday, 2Baba spoke about the rumours. He defended Osawaru on Instagram, saying she is not a “homebreaker.”
“Hon. Natasha has been dragged and called all sorts of names. She is a young, brilliant, amazing woman and had nothing to do with what happened between me and Annie. Yes, I love her, and I want to marry her,’ he said.
The proposal has sparked different reactions online. Some fans support 2Face, while others question his decision.
