Kenneth Gbagi, a former education minister, has passed away.
Gbagi who served as a minister under former President Goodluck Jonathan, died on Saturday at the age of 62.
His son, Emuoboh, announced the sad news on Facebook on behalf of the family.
“It is with profound sadness but gratitude to God, that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, husband, and brother,” the statement said.
Gbagi, known as Olorogun (Barr.) Kenneth Omemavwa Gbagi, FNIM, OON, had a remarkable career and was the Social Democratic Party’s (SDP) candidate for the 2023 Delta State governorship election.
