Rapper Sean Kingston and his mother, Janice Turner, are facing fraud and theft charges following a SWAT team raid on his South Florida home.
The arrest comes after a lawsuit accused Kingston of scamming a Florida company out of over $110,000 for a luxury TV and sound system.
According to the lawsuit, Kingston promised to promote the company with Justin Bieber in exchange for a lower down payment, but failed to follow through on his commitments.
The company claims Kingston and his mother work together to obtain expensive items under false pretenses.
Kingston was arrested in California and will be extradited to Florida, where he and his mother face numerous fraud and theft charges.
