The Congress questioned the BJP’s intentions and criticized the alleged resignation as a mockery of voters.
However, Suresh Gopi clarified that he has accepted his ministerial role and has been officially sworn in. He highlighted his dedication to working for Kerala and implementing important projects.
Gopi’s victory in the recent Lok Sabha elections marked a significant achievement for the BJP in Kerala, often referred to as a “Modi’s Guarantee” win.
He expressed his joy at this unexpected triumph and his readiness to contribute to Kerala’s development, including advocating for an AIIMS in the state.
On the day of his swearing-in, Gopi mentioned he was surprised to be included in the Council of Ministers but reiterated his commitment to expanding the BJP’s influence in the southern region.
