Damola Ilesanmi, a Nigerian man living in the UK, has passed away just days before starting a new job with the National Health Service (NHS).
Damola, who was married and had two children, had recently shared his excitement about the new job on LinkedIn.
He had graduated from the University of Bradford in the UK after moving from Nigeria, where he had a successful career.
Tragically, Damola died of cardiac arrest on June 6, only a few days after his LinkedIn post. He was set to begin his new job on June 10.
Friends and former colleagues, both in the UK and Nigeria, are mourning his loss and sharing their condolences on social media.
