Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin has chosen to forgive Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, by withdrawing a N1 billion lawsuit he had previously filed against him.
In a public statement, Prophet Fufeyin said he decided to drop the legal case, choosing instead to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, who encouraged peace and the correction of sinners.
Prophet Fufeyin emphasized his commitment to forgiveness and said, “Verydarkman, I, Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, extend forgiveness to you. I am withdrawing the court case against you. Following the teachings of Jesus, who preached peace and corrected sinners, I forgive you. May you learn from your mistakes and walk in righteousness from now on, my son.”
Earlier, Prophet Fufeyin had sued Verydarkman and obtained a restraining order against him after the activist mocked the clergyman for selling miracle water.
As a result of the lawsuit, Verydarkman tested Prophet Fufeyin’s products by giving the miracle water to disabled people, but nothing miraculous happened.
