Samu Omorodion’s transfer from Atletico Madrid to Chelsea is now uncertain.
The deal was expected to be finalized after the 2024 Olympics, where Omorodion played for Spain. However, there are now serious problems with the transfer, and both clubs are trying to resolve the issues.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted on Sunday night, saying, “There are serious issues for the Samu Omorodion deal, as @marcosbenito9 has reported.
“Chelsea move currently considered at risk but all parties are still working on it.
“Understand Chelsea and Atlético are in contact to find solutions as the Omorodion deal could collapse.”
