The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has officially named Bruno Labbadia, a German coach, as the new head coach of the Super Eagles.
This announcement was made on Tuesday morning through a tweet on the NFF’s official X handle, known as #thenff.
The tweet from the NFF confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Bruno Labbadia to lead the Super Eagles, Nigeria’s senior men’s national football team.
“The NFF Executive Committee has approved the recommendation of its Technical and Development sub-committee to appoint Mr Bruno Labbadia as the Head Coach of the Super Eagles,” said Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, the NFF General Secretary.
Bruno Labbadia now takes over as the 37th coach of the Super Eagles, following the resignation of the former coach, Finidi George.
