Nigerian singer Ayra Starr is calling for justice for Christiannah Idowu, a student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), who was allegedly murdered by her friend, Ayomide Adeleye.
On her official X page, Ayra Starr expressed her anger over the killing, urging that justice be served. She stressed that violence against women must stop and that women deserve to live without fear.
The tragic incident follows reports that Adeleye, a friend of Christiannah, had kidnapped and murdered her, burying her body in his compound.
Shockingly, it was also discovered that Adeleye’s ex-girlfriend and blood sister were victims of similar killings in 2018 and 2020.
