The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero.
He was taken into custody on Monday morning at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja while trying to travel to the United Kingdom for an official duty.
Reports say Ajaero was on his way to attend the Trade Union Congress conference in London, which starts today.
