Nollywood has lost another veteran actor, Emmanuel France, who has died at the age of 80.
He was well-known for his roles in movies like “Cross My Sin,” “She Is My Sister,” and “The Director.”
Femi Ogedengbe, a Nigerian filmmaker, shared the sad news of France’s death on Instagram on Monday. Ogedengbe expressed his sorrow, remembering the good times they had working together.
He said, “Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France. One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We shot three movies together.”
As of now, the cause of Emmanuel France’s death is not known. His passing comes just a few days after the death of another Nollywood actor, Big Larry. Fans and colleagues are mourning the loss of the two actors.
