Social media personality and activist Martins Vincent Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, has shared a disturbing update regarding the health of Nollywood veteran actor, John Okafor, better known as Mr. Ibu.
This comes few days after Mr Ibu’s daughter, Jasmine Chioma revealed that Ibu underwent two major surgeries, leaving a glimpse of hope for fans as she claimed that he was recuperating and reiterating how strong and funny he was even in pain.
However, VDM as reported by Beyond Boders, recently took to his Instagram page, to say that Mr Ibu who is presently in a 50/50 situation, is in dire need of prayers, stating it appeared like the donations made so far are going down the drain.

The only way Mr Ibu could quickly recuperate according to VDM, is if he is flown abroad, as Nigerian hospitals are not adequately equipped.
Calling on well-meaning Nigerians to continue donating the little they could as it would also go a long way, he added that the doctors want to conduct another surgery on him, but are critically observing him at the moment, with the fear that if he is injected with anaesthesia, it could travel down his heart, instantly leading to his demise.
