Euston Station Evacuated as Police Investigate Suspicious Package

Euston Station in the UK was evacuated after police discovered a suspicious package.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed they were investigating the item and set up a safety cordon around the area as a precaution.

Emergency services, including an ambulance and specialist officers, were seen at the station.

Passengers expressed confusion online, with many reporting that the station was cleared out. One witness shared, “it seems like the whole area is cordoned off.”It seems like the whole area is cordoned off.”

There were also reports of a loud explosion near Euston Road. People nearby said the streets were filled with sirens as emergency vehicles arrived.

The police later confirmed that the noise was caused by a controlled explosion carried out by experts to safely deal with the package.

The area has since been cleared and the cordons lifted. The police thanked the public for their patience during the investigation.
