The Muslim community in Nigeria is mourning the death of a respected Islamic scholar, Alhaji Muyideen Bello.
Alhaji Bello, born in 1940 in Ibadan, Oyo State, was known for his deep teachings and strong dedication to Islam. He spent decades sharing knowledge, guiding people, and offering spiritual leadership.
News of his death was announced on Friday morning by Alfa Aribidesi of At-Tawdeeh Islamic Da’awah.
Another cleric and Islamic singer, Alhaji Basit Olanrewaju, also called Aponle Anabi, shared the sad news on Facebook, posting a picture of the late scholar with crying emojis.
At 84 years old, Alhaji Bello’s passing marks the end of a life devoted to shaping the lives of many through his wisdom and faith.
While the cause of his death is not yet known, tributes continue to pour in for the revered scholar.
