In an unforgettable moment for Nigeria and Africa, 23-year-old Nwajagu Chinemerem Samuel has made history by winning the Mister International title.
This is the first time an African has claimed the crown in the competition’s history.
The event took place on December 14, 2024, at Island Hall, Fashion Island, Bangkok, Thailand. Over 40 contestants from different countries competed in the 16th edition of the Mister International pageant.
Samuel, a software engineer, stood out with his confidence and charm. He was crowned by the outgoing winner, Kim Thitisan Goodburn of Thailand.
This victory adds to Nigeria’s recent achievements in global pageantry. Earlier, Chidimma Adetshina became the first Nigerian to reach the first runner-up position at Miss Universe. Samuel’s win is another proud moment for the country.
In his speech, Samuel expressed gratitude and shared an inspiring message:
“I feel very great and I am very happy for the support each and every one of you gave me throughout this journey. My message is a message of hope and resilience. I want to encourage every one that you are capable of making a difference regardless of where you come from no matter where you are. All great things starts from small beginnings. Don’t be afraid to take that bold step because where dreams meet determination is where greatness follows.”
