Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, has explained the reason behind his disagreement with famous singer Burna Boy.
According to him, their conflict started because of Burna Boy’s jealousy over his close relationship with Davido.
In recent weeks, the two have exchanged heated words on social media. The feud became even more intense after Burna Boy allegedly had fellow singer Speed Darlington arrested.
Speaking on Channels Television’s “Rubbin’ Minds” programme on Sunday, Cubana Chief Priest said, “My whole issue with Burna Boy started because he was jealous of my relationship with Davido.
“He wanted CP by his side, but I chose to work with Davido. Me and Davido have never discussed anything about Burna Boy.
“Davido isn’t the kind of person who would use his time to discuss his colleagues. It’s always them imagining things and trying to drag us.”
The feud gained more attention after Speed Darlington was reportedly arrested for claiming that Burna Boy had a controversial relationship with American music executive Diddy to secure a Grammy win.
