Nigerian music star Burna Boy has released a new song called “Update” from his upcoming album “No Sign of Weakness.” The song comes with a lively music video.
In “Update,” Burna Boy uses a sample from the 90s hit “Back To Life” by Soul II Soul. He mixes this classic sound with Afrobeats, pop, and amapiano, creating a fresh and exciting vibe.
Speaking to “Billboard France,” Burna Boy described his new album as “extrospective.”
“It’s not just about me but about looking outward, reflecting on the world, and how my experiences connect to the bigger picture. It’s about growth, understanding, and challenging perceptions while staying true to who I am,” he said
This album follows his 2023 release, “I Told Them…,” which featured J. Cole, Dave, and Wu-Tang Clan’s GZA and RZA. The album received four Grammy nominations.
