Nollywood actor Gabriel Afolayan has won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 11th Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA). He received this award for his role in the movie ‘Inside Life,’ directed by Clarence Peters.
The award ceremony was held on Saturday night at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria. Gabriel’s powerful acting in the movie was praised by many people in the film industry.
Gabriel Afolayan is the younger brother of Kunle Afolayan, a popular Nollywood actor, producer, and director. Kunle is known for making top-quality Nigerian movies by using bigger budgets, better cameras, and interesting stories.
The AMVCA was created in 2013 by MultiChoice Africa. It is a yearly event that celebrates the best talents in African film and television. The awards show highlights the hard work, creativity, and skills of people in the African entertainment world.
This year’s event had 28 award categories, including a new category called ‘Best Music Score.’
