Popular Nigerian singer Tems has sent a strong message to people talking about her body, especially her backside.
After her recent performance at the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia, a video of her on stage went viral and started a lot of online talks about how her body looks.
Some people on social media claimed that Tems’ curvy shape had changed. One X user even said, “Real one knows she just has big laps not actual ass,” which made others drop their own opinions about her body.
But Tems was not having it. She went online to reply to them, calling those making the comments “weird” and telling them to stop.
She wrote:
“Okay 7 years in. It’s time to pack it up. I never thought I’d need to say it but you are all weird. “It’s small, it’s flat, it’s fat.” Dog ITS MINE. ‘Show us your bumbum’ lol so me too I will turn and say “see”
Tems made it clear that she has never hidden her body and does not feel the need to explain anything to anyone. She added that whether people like her body or not, it makes no difference to her.
She said:
“Nah show ME yours first?? See how that feels? It’s just a body I will add and lose weight. I never once hid my body, I just didn’t feel the need to prove or disprove anyone. The more you don’t like my body the better for me actually. But it’s enough now. Move on from my bum”
