President Bola Tinubu has praised the Super Eagles for their performance in the Africa Cup of Nations final in Ivory Coast.
As gathered by Beyond Boders, Tinubu, despite their loss to the host nation, commended the Eagles for their resilience and talent during the tournament.
In a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, on Sunday, Tinubu expressed his admiration for the team’s efforts.
Ivory Coast’s Elephants emerged victorious in the 2023 AFCON final, defeating the Super Eagles 2-1.
Tinubu emphasized that Nigeria’s presence and performance in the tournament were significant victories both within Africa and globally.
