The autopsy report and forensic tests on late rapper Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, have been completed. The report is now with the Lagos State Pathologist.
Lagos State Attorney General, Mr. Lawal Pedro (SAN), shared this information during a briefing on his administration’s first anniversary.
He also mentioned the upcoming Strategic Stakeholders Meeting set to take place at Raddison Hotel, Ikeja.
Pedro explained that the delay in the investigation was due to the time taken for forensic analysis and toxicology tests. These steps are crucial for any court case to move forward.
“Forensic analysis, toxicology, are part of investigation that can lead at least to conviction in a case that is presented before the courts,” he said.

The tests had to be conducted in the United States because the Lagos DNA and Forensic Centre was destroyed during the 2022 #EndSARS protest.
Pedro also gave updates on other cases, including the trial of female lawyer Otike-Odibi, who is accused of killing her husband and mutilating his body.
The trial had faced delays as important files were lost when Igbosere Court was burnt during the #EndSARS protest. The case has now been assigned to a new judge.
In another case, Pedro confirmed that the state has closed its case against BRT driver Andrew Nice, accused of killing a fashion designer, Bamise Ayanwole. The trial is still ongoing.
