Suzanne Hinn, the wife of well-known televangelist Benny Hinn, has filed for divorce in Tampa, Florida.
This is not the first time Suzanne has sought to end their marriage. She first filed for divorce in 2010 after 30 years together, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Benny Hinn shared on his ministry’s website that Suzanne had struggled with personal issues and became dependent on prescription medications for nearly 15 years.
According to him, this led to erratic behaviour, which he did not fully understand at the time.
The couple, who married in 1979 and have four children, faced public attention in the past when Benny Hinn was seen with fellow televangelist Paula White. However, he denied any affair.
Despite reconciling and remarrying in 2013, Suzanne’s new filing has brought their relationship back into the spotlight.
Court records show that Benny Hinn’s address is in Palm Coast, Florida, while Suzanne listed a home in Longwood, Florida, valued at over $1 million.
Benny Hinn, who has been a controversial figure for his prosperity gospel teachings, recently claimed to have moved away from these doctrines.
His ministry has also faced criticism for financial appeals during global crises.
