Workers from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) have taken to the streets of Lagos to show their unhappiness about the hard times they are facing.
They are angry because they say the government has not kept promises made on October 2, 2023, after the subsidy on fuel was removed.
After giving the government 14 days to act, and with no change, the workers decided to protest.
Talks between the government and NLC last night did not go well, so the workers decided to start their protest.
They gathered at Ikeja underbridge, singing and dancing, demanding the government listen to their complaints.
The protest will continue tomorrow.
