Monday Okpebholo has officially taken over as the new governor of Edo State, succeeding Godwin Obaseki, who led the state for the past eight years.
The inauguration ceremony happened on Tuesday at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, the capital of Edo State.
This event follows the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the recent election, earning them the governorship seat.
Okpebholo took his oath of office alongside Dennis Idahosa, who was sworn in as the Deputy Governor.
Notable figures attended the ceremony, including Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation.
