Chukwu, the daughter of Soboma and Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, was found dead outside their home in Parkview, Lagos, on Wednesday, July 31, under suspicious circumstances.
Reports suggest that the family had recently hired new domestic staff, who have now become suspects in the case.
It is believed that these workers may have tried to make it look like Chukwu died outside. However, evidence shows that blood was cleaned up inside the house and around the compound, which hints at a different story.
Soboma Ajumogobia, Chukwu’s father, is the younger brother of Odein Ajumogobia, a former Minister of State for Petroleum and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
A source stated, “Her body was discovered this morning outside the gate. It appears that new household staff may have been involved and tried to make it look like she was outside when the incident occurred. However, attempts to clean up blood inside the house and compound suggest otherwise.”
