In a surprising move, some members of the House of Representatives are pushing for changes to Nigeria’s Constitution; they want the President to serve for six years instead of the current four.
Also, they suggest rotating the Presidency among the country’s six zones.
The group believes that these changes could save money, make the government more efficient, and bring stability to the nation.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Ikenga Ugochinyere, who represents Ideato South/Ideato North Federal Constituency in Imo State, highlighted these points.
