British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been charged with rape in Australia.
The 29-year-old is known for his work with the YouTube group Beta Squad and presenting shows on BBC Three.
Barrientos was arrested in Brisbane on Tuesday and taken to Perth the next day for a court hearing. On Thursday, he was officially charged and granted bail.
He faces several charges, including four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault causing bodily harm, and one count of restricting someone’s breathing by applying pressure to their neck.
The incident reportedly happened on September 28, when Barrientos allegedly brought a woman in her 20s back to his hotel room after performing at a nightclub in Perth.
