A video has emerged showing Nigerian politician, Chris Uba, physically assaulting a worker in his London home.
The worker had completed a job but was not paid, as spotted by Beyond Boders.
In the 36-second video, a man, believed to be a foreigner, was seen asking Uba for payment.
Uba, who was once a major figure in Anambra State politics, told the worker, “Leave my house, I am not owing you. I said leave my house.”
Another person in the video could be heard saying, “Look at me, why are you hitting him? Why are you hitting him?” Uba responded angrily, saying , “Shut up. Get out, you are a fool. You are another criminal.”
The worker continued to say that Uba did not “want to pay” and mentioned that they had worked on the entire house. The worker warned that the police would be involved if Uba refused to pay.
Uba then lashed out, calling the worker “too small” and appeared to assault the person filming the incident.
Chris Uba is a well-known member of the influential Uba family in Nigeria. He became famous during the 2003 elections for supporting and influencing the election of several candidates in Anambra State.
In 2022, during an event, Uba boasted about his role in helping various politicians, including governors and senators, rise to power.
He also claimed to own three oil wells and several businesses.
Uba’s influence in Nigerian politics and his controversial actions have made him a notable figure in the country.
