Nigerian internet personality, James Brown, has reached out with words of encouragement to his colleague, Bobrisky, who is currently serving a prison sentence.
As spotted by Beyond Boders, the heartfelt message, shared on Instagram, sparked attention online.
Bobrisky, known for his presence on social media, recently faced legal trouble, being arrested by the EFCC and subsequently convicted for financial offenses; he has been sentenced to six months in prison.
In his open letter to Bobrisky, James Brown expressed deep sympathy for his situation, acknowledging the unfairness of his incarceration.
He recalled his own challenges and emphasized the strength needed to endure such circumstances, particularly considering Bobrisky’s identity as a transgender individual.
“I want you to know that I’m here for you,” James Brown wrote, offering his support and assistance.
He encouraged Bobrisky to stay resilient and assured him that he would emerge from this experience stronger.
