Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze, is a well-known media personality in Nigeria.
Recently, he reacted to a court decision that says he must pay N5 million for allegedly having an affair with another man’s wife.
Beyond Boders recalls that in February 2021, a High Court in Rivers State, Port Harcourt, ruled that Daddy Freeze should pay N5 million for committing adultery with Benedicta Elechi. The court ordered him to pay this fine to Paul Odekina, who was married to Benedicta Elechi at the time of the affair.
Daddy Freeze was not happy with this decision and took the case to the Appeal Court, hoping to change the ruling.
On his Instagram live show, Daddy Freeze denied the cheating allegation, saying, “I will pay the adultery fine; my wrist watch alone cost over N100 million, but I am innocent. This happened many years ago. I was going through serious torment, so was the lady, and we both jam many years later in church; this happened over 12 years ago.”
