Romeo Beckham, the 22-year-old son of famous English footballer David Beckham, has decided to quit professional football.
Instead, he will focus on a modeling career, following in the footsteps of his mother, Victoria Beckham, who is a big name in the fashion world.
Romeo had been playing for Brentford’s B team in the Premier League, but chose to leave even after being offered a new contract. He has now signed with a top fashion agent as he makes his move into modeling.
Romeo’s modeling career is already taking off, as he has landed big deals with well-known fashion brands like Puma and Yves Saint Laurent.
Despite leaving football, Romeo still plans to stay connected to the sport by supporting the Brentford Penguins, a team that includes players with Down’s syndrome.
