Princess Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, daughter of the UAE Prime Minister and Dubai ruler, announced her divorce from Sheikh Mana Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum on Instagram.
On Wednesday, Sheikha Mahra shared the news on her Instagram account, which is unusual for a princess in the UAE.
The 30-year-old princess said her husband was “occupied with other companions” as the reason for the divorce.
She wrote, “Dear husband, as you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce.
“I divorce you, I divorce you, and I divorce you. Take care. Your ex-wife,” using a method called triple divorce.
