Emilokan: Eedris Abdulkareem Slams Pastor Adeboye for Failing to Speak Out Against Tinubu’s Govt [Video]

by Beyondboders

Veteran Nigerian musician, Eedris Abdulkareem, has called out Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the leader of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), for not speaking up about the current government’s actions under President Bola Tinubu.

Abdulkareem expressed his concerns in a new song titled “Emilokan,” released on Sunday.

In the song, Abdulkareem criticized Adeboye for staying silent despite the economic hardships people are facing in Nigeria.

He pointed out that during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s time in office, Adeboye was vocal and even threatened to lead a protest march.

Abdulkareem urged Adeboye to organize his church members to protest against the Tinubu administration, just as he planned to do during Jonathan’s tenure.

“Baba, we need your one million disciples to protest against Tinubu government, just the way you protest against President Jonathan,” he said.

Abdulkareem emphasized that influential leaders like Adeboye have a duty to speak out on important national issues affecting the people.

He questioned why Adeboye has not mobilized his followers to stand against the current hardships.
