FUTA Students Rally Against Frequent Robberies

by Beyondboders

Today, students from the Federal University of Technology Akure in Ondo State took to the streets to voice their concerns about the constant robberies they face near their campus.

The students, chanting various songs of unity, blocked the busy Akure-Ilesa Road, causing heavy traffic.

They demanded action from the university management, government, and security forces to protect them from these criminals.

In response, the state police spokesperson, Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, assured that officers had been sent to the area to prevent any trouble during the protest.
