Nigerian content creator Kuye Adegoke, popularly called Egungun of Lagos, has spoken out following the release of a leaked video that went viral online.
Beyond Boders reports that the video, widely shared on social media, shows Egungun on a video call with an unknown woman while brushing his teeth.
During the call, he was wearing shorts but accidentally exposed his private parts.
This incident comes shortly after his wife, Pashotah, revealed that someone had tried to blackmail them using private videos of her husband.
According to her, the clip was meant for her while Egungun was traveling but was mistakenly posted on his Snapchat story, where it was recorded by another user.
Pashotah had earlier defended her husband and their marriage against the blackmail, saying they stood strong despite the threats.
However, the leaked video has sparked criticism, with many questioning Egungun’s image as a family man and doubting Pashotah’s earlier support for him.
In response to the backlash, Egungun appeared unbothered. He posted a new video on Instagram, dancing with a South African video vixen in his living room.
The clip, set to the hit song “Gimme Love” by Zlatan and Olamide, shows him dancing energetically. He captioned it, “That’s massive baby but still give me your love baby.”
Despite the controversy, Egungun seems to be moving forward without concern.
