English Translation (Meaning)
In a far-off kingdom, a king issued a challenge: whoever could bring a magnificent creature like an elephant to him alive would win the hand of his daughter in marriage.
Many tried, but none succeeded. Meanwhile, the cunning Mr. Tortoise hatched a plan. He approached the Elephant and whispered a tantalizing tale – that the king had appointed him, Elephant, as the esteemed chairman of the royal event.
Delighted by the prospect, Elephant eagerly agreed to participate.
However, as they set off towards the kingdom, it became clear that his slow pace would hinder their progress.
Undeterred, Mr. Tortoise proposed a clever solution: Elephant would carry him on his back. To ensure a safe ride, Mr. Tortoise tied a rope around Elephant’s neck and held on tight.
As they approached the kingdom, Mr. Tortoise timed his descent perfectly, leaping off Elephant’s back just as they arrived at the palace gates.
With a triumphant smile, he presented the majestic Elephant to the king, claiming victory in the challenge. Hence, the cunning Mr. Tortoise won the king’s daughter’s hand in marriage, outsmarting all the other contenders.
