Super Eagles and Atalanta player, Ademola Lookman, has shared how his mother helped him become the footballer he is today.
The 26-year-old forward had a great season last year. He helped Nigeria’s Super Eagles reach the AFCON 2023 final and also won the UEFA Europa League with Atalanta.
Lookman scored three goals in the Europa League final and celebrated with his mother and his childhood coach.
In a recent interview, Lookman explained how much his mother did for him and his sister. He called her his “Superwoman” because of her strength and the many roles she played in his life.
Growing up, Lookman lived with his mother and sister, while his father and other sister were in Nigeria. Despite this, his mother made sure he never felt alone.
