A doctor from the United Kingdom, Tijion Esho, originally from Nigeria, has had his medical licenses taken away.
This is because he has been found to have traded Botox injections for sex, as reported by the Telegraph.
Dr. Esho is well-known for his expertise in cosmetic surgery, often sharing his thoughts on TV shows like ITV’s This Morning, BBC’s Morning Live, and E4’s Body Fixers.
He has even had his own clinic, the Esho Clinic, with branches in London, Liverpool, and Dubai, serving many famous clients.
During a hearing with the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service in Manchester, Dr. Esho admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with a woman referred to as Patient A.
They exchanged sexual messages on Instagram, and Dr. Esho even admitted to having sex with her in his clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2021, giving her free Botox injections.
The tribunal also discovered that Dr. Esho had made inappropriate remarks to Patient A in the past, even allowing her to masturbate him during a consultation.
Because of his misconduct, the tribunal decided Dr. Esho’s ability to practice medicine was affected.
To this effect, a decision was reached to remove his name from the medical register, with the exact reasons for this decision to be released next week.
Dr. Esho’s inappropriate messages to Patient A included comments like “Morning Glory,” “bulge,” and “loving the tongue,” showing a clear sexual intent.
Although Patient A was involved in sex work via platforms like OnlyFans, the tribunal did not consider her vulnerable due to her profession.
It is worth noting that Botox injections are commonly used to reduce wrinkles by relaxing certain muscles.
They can also help with medical conditions like migraines and eye problems. Typically, people need to get these injections every three to six months to maintain the results.
