Nigerian activist Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has sparked reactions online after alleging that N180 million was stolen from his NGO account due to a hack.
In a video shared on Instagram on Friday, Otse explained that the funds, raised for his NGO, the Martins Vincent Osei Initiative, were transferred into an unknown account, leaving only N20 million behind.
He mentioned that the stolen money included donations made to the NGO since its launch in October.
According to Otse, the initiative initially raised over N35 million in hours, with music producer Don Jazzy adding N100 million to the total.
Despite his explanation, many social media users are raising doubts.
