The police in Anambra State have found the remaining three bodies of people who died in a boat accident last Wednesday along the River Niger.
According to reports, they want everyone who travels by water to be careful and not do anything risky that could harm them or others.
The police spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, shared this news in a statement on Friday, saying, “The two of the bodies were recovered on Thursday, April 11, 2024, while the last was washed in by the tide this morning.”
Beyond Boders recalls that on April 10th, famous actor, Junior Pope, and four others died when their boat sank.
They were going to a movie location in Anambra West Local Government Area, but had to return to Asaba, Delta State.

This accident made the Actors Guild of Nigeria stop actors from working in movies near rivers or on boats.
The bodies are now in the hospital mortuary in Asaba. The Guild of Actors and Actresses President has been told about this.
The Police Commissioner promised to quickly investigate the accident, praising the Marine Unit and its Commander for working hard.
