In a surprising turn of events, a group known as the “Take It Back Movement” took to the streets of Lagos State to express their dissatisfaction with the rising prices of food and the overall high cost of living in the nation.
This demonstration defied the warning delivered by Lagos State’s Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, just this past Sunday.
Protesters marched through the Ojuelegba under bridge area, brandishing placards with various messages, aiming to highlight the widespread economic challenges faced by Nigerians.
