Kim E-bae, the CEO of Jeju Air, a South Korean airline, has been stopped from leaving the country. This comes after one of the airline’s planes crashed last week, killing 179 people.
Police in South Jeolla Province, where the crash happened in Muan City, confirmed the travel ban on Thursday. “The investigation team imposed a travel ban on two individuals, including Jeju Air CEO Kim E-bae,” they said.
