Earlier today, law enforcement officials detained two individuals suspected of involvement with the Yoruba Nation movement.
This follows their alleged participation in the recent incursion at the Oyo Government Secretariat.
The apprehended pair consists of an elderly gentleman with silver hair and a middle-aged man, whose identity remains unverified.
They were apprehended by police officers while carrying Yoruba Nation flags and related items.
Reports indicate that the individuals were adorned with talismans and other mystical objects, while chanting Yoruba Nation solidarity songs just prior to their arrest.
Although journalists were not permitted to conduct interviews, witnesses overheard the older individual proclaiming himself as the ‘father of the Nation.’
Both suspects have been transported to the local Police Command headquarters for further questioning by law enforcement authorities.
