The Senate has lifted the suspension of Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, allowing him to resume his duties.
Beyond Boders recalls that Senator Ningi was suspended three months ago after making accusations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
The decision to lift the suspension came after Deputy Minority Leader, Abba Moro, apologized on behalf of Senator Ningi and accepted responsibility for his actions.
The Senate accepted the apology and welcomed Senator Ningi back to the chamber.
