Three music stars, Abdulazeez Fashola (Naira Marley), Owodunni Eletu (Sam Larry), and Owodunni Ibrahim (Primeboy), have been summoned by a Lagos coroner court sitting in Ikorodu.

Beyond Boders reports that the coroner, Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi, summoned the music stars to appear before the court on October 25, 2023, to shed light on the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba (Mohbad).

Mohbad, a singer formerly signed to Naira Marley’s record label, Marlian Music, died on September 12, 2023, under controversial circumstances.

Some reports allege that he was beaten to death by Naira Marley’s bouncers, while others claim that he died from drug overdose.

The coroner’s inquest is still ongoing, and the purpose of summoning the music stars is to identify any individuals responsible for Mohbad’s death.

Also, the coroner has instructed the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Panti, to ensure the presence of the music stars at the next adjourned date of October 25.

It is worth noting that the Coroner’s Court has the duty of investigating the causes and circumstances surrounding certain deaths that are considered to be unnatural, violent, or cases where the cause remains unknown.

More details on this story will follow.
