Well-known Marlian associate Sam Larry, is presently in police custody in connection with the death of late singer Mohbad.
The embattled Lagos socialite who is currently assisting with the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of 27-year-old singer and songwriter Beyond Borders reports, was apprehended at the Lagos airport upon his return to Nigeria over allegations suggesting his involvement in Mohbad’s death.
It was also learned that the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin on Thursday night, confirmed Larry’s arrest.

Recall that Larry once came under fire on social media after videos of him and some people harassing Mohbad surfaced.
One of the videos showed where Mohbad and Zlatan were on set for a music video when the Larry and some boys stormed the scene, while Mohbad was forced to run away.
Many have since accused Larry of bullying and threatening the late singer.
Beyond Boders has also learned that he is cooperating with the investigation, even if It is unclear what role he is alleged to have played in the singer’s death.
