Popular social critic Martins Otse, widely known as Verydarkman, has clarified that no money was ever missing from his NGO’s account.
In a video shared on Tuesday, Verydarkman expressed disappointment with Nigerians for accepting the story without investigating.
He also criticized the insults directed at him and his mother.
“No money is missing, my money is secured. The way people are so excited about bad is really sad. I told my website guy, shut the website, let us use this people catch cruise. Nobody bothered to ask for evidence. They just went with what is being said. I am so happy I did this,” he said.
Beyond Boders recalls that Verydarkman last Friday, had raised an alarm on Instagram, claiming hackers stole N180 million from his organisation’s account. The new revelation confirms it was all part of a planned stunt.
