Former Nigerian footballer, Obafemi Martins, is not only known for his skills on the football field but also for his smart business decisions.
Beyond Boders reports that Martins has made several big investments over the years. He is one of Nigeria’s most well-traveled and richest football players, having played for top clubs in Europe like Inter Milan, Newcastle, and Wolfsburg.
For Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles, he played 42 matches and scored 18 goals.
With his earnings, Martins invested in real estate, owning valuable properties in Lagos, especially in areas like VGC, ChevyView Estate, Ikoyi, and Victoria Island.
He also owns a property in Italy and a hotel in Lagos.
Additionally, Martins has a clothing line in the United States that earns him millions.
Recently, Martins has focused more on the nightlife business. He owns 143 Entertainment, which runs BayRock Lifestyle, a popular club in Lekki, Lagos, known for its exciting atmosphere and diverse dancers.
Building on this success, Martins has opened a new club called Cosa Nostra Patron, located in Victoria Island, Lagos, which brings an Italian-inspired experience to the city’s nightlife.
