In a move sparking celebrations and praises, Professor Francis Adedayo Faduyile OON, the sole professor in the running for Ondo State governorship, has passed the screening by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The announcement comes after a rigorous screening process conducted by the party’s Screening Committee, according to a statement made available to Beyond Boders on Saturday.
Professor Faduyile, a distinguished figure known for his expertise in Pathology and Forensic Medicine, as well as his contributions to academia, philanthropy, and activism, faced a panel of seasoned experts at the APC National Headquarters.
Despite the tough scrutiny, he maintained his composure and presented his credentials with grace and confidence.
As a former President of the Nigerian Medical Association, Professor Faduyile showcased his impressive track record and unwavering commitment to service.
Moreover, his sterling reputation and accomplishments have garnered widespread admiration among the people of Ondo State.
Expressing his gratitude for the opportunity, Professor Faduyile affirmed his dedication to bringing positive change to the state.
“He pledged to provide the quality leadership needed to take Ondo State to an enviable height in the various sectors of the economy, ensuring the expansion of modern infrastructure that will guarantee job creation, technological advancement, quality healthcare services, social insurance and welfare scheme, agriculture, massive industrialization, sports and many more,” the statement read in part.
The Professor called on all indigenes, both home and abroad, to join him in the journey towards a better future for the state.
With the screening hurdle cleared, Professor Faduyile now sets his sights on securing the APC ticket in the forthcoming primaries scheduled for April 20th.
