Results for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are now accessible to all candidates who took part.
At a gathering in Abuja on Monday, Is-haq Oloyede, a professor and the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB), made this announcement.
From April 19 to April 29, over 1.9 million candidates underwent the computer-based test to vie for spots in Nigerian universities and colleges.
However, Mr. Oloyede mentioned that the results of 64,624 candidates have been held back due to suspected misconduct. He assured that the board is thoroughly investigating these cases.
In his statement shared with newsmen, Mr. Oloyede stated, “Out of a total of 1,989,668 registered candidates, 80,810 were absent. A total of 1,904,189 sat the UTME within the six days of the examination…”
He further declared that outcomes for 1,842,464 candidates have already been disclosed, bringing relief to numerous aspirants.
